Frequently asked questions

  • Why are your hours the way they are? 

Because we are raising a family.  This business was built to add more fulfillment to our lives and to care for your loved dog .  We do sometimes meet outside of our hours - just ask and we will do our best to accommodate.  Weekends we are not able to accommodate alternate hours unless it is an emergency.

  • Do you do dog grooming?

 No, we are not dog groomers but we do have a shower/bath area if your dog does have an accident and needs a quick washing.

  • Do you do dog training?

No training is being offered at this time. 

​

  • What if my dog has bitten a person or another dog before.  Are they still welcomed to come?

No, we will not accept any dogs that have had in the past or currently display aggressive behavior towards humans or other dogs.  There are other places in the area that may be able to accommodate you.

  • My dog is not spayed or neutered, are they still able to be boarded?

Yes!  However if they are not neutered they can not play with any females who are unspayed and if they are unspayed theycannot play with any males that are unneutered.

  • Are you hiring?

Yes, we are looking for any weekend help.

​

  • How old do dogs need to be to come to the lodge.  They need to be completely potty trained & have all the required immunizations.  Usually the youngest we have is 6 months.

  • Does my dog need to be vaccinated in order to come to the lodge?

Yes,  All dogs must have a veterinarian's certificate that immunizations are current:  (Rabies, DHLPP, Parvo, Canine Cough (Bordetella).  If your dog needs a immunization that is new or needs updating; it must be administered 14 days or more prior to arrival if they have never had the immunization. Please do your best to e-mail, mail or text these records prior to arrival.  You can bring them the day of arrival but if we do not have the records they are not able to stay.  THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS PLEASE PLAN AHEAD!

                            ATTENTION

We want to continue to be YOUR #1 option when leaving your beloved fur baby. One step that we have taken is that we invested in the revolutionary Bi-Ox Reactor system that actually decontaminates the air and that has an all-natural enzyme microbe solution that acts like an air scrubber and drastically reduces the spread of airborne illness.

With that, we are going to take another step that should add one more layer of protection to your dogs. Before bringing your pup here, we would like a two-week time window after your dog has visited the following:

Examples: vet offices, dog shows, dog classes, other dog boarding and daycare facilities, groomers (yes mobile too) & dog parks. Please let us know if your dog has been to any of these mentioned in the two-week window before coming here. Thanks so much
